An independent novelist, I cut my teeth on NaNoWriMo. It's sometimes arduous, but every writer has their own style, and I've found concentrated time of the butt in chair works best. I'm a copious fan of music, rock and pop as well as reggae, dub, and jazz. I love American football, baseball, Wimbledon, Dr. Who and Betty's in Harrogate as I adore tea, a habit traced back to the eleven years I resided in Yorkshire, England. A California native, living in the UK was a gift for which I am forever grateful, the wonders and blessings from that time never absent. When time permits, I stroll the beaches of Capitola and Santa Cruz, but most days are spent writing. Like many authors, I've been at this forever, but only in the last five years has it been focused. A mother of three, I'm quite firmly attached to a wonderful chap who has rocked my world for over twenty years, in addition to Christ in whose arms I am continually held despite my sometimes insurmountable lack of faith. A pretty nice life. Except for the dearth of precipitation and clotted cream, I have few complaints. |
